    Both sides covered with extensive letterpress, notably running headers 'De gallopauo.G.Lib.III.' with the page number '427' (recto), and 'De Auibus' with the page number '428' (verso); the image is labelled, above, 'DE GALLINI LANIGERIS VEL LANATIS.'
